Silent Library – Finally a good show on MTV?!

Just caught the last 15 minutes of this game show this afternoon and I was genuinely laughing. Silent Library is a Japanese game show that MTV picked up.  Like the trailer says, “the rules are simple.”  All you have to do is stay quiet and your team collectively wins money.  After some quick research on Wiki and Google, I find a clip from the actual Japanese version.

Some of the Japanese challenges seems more harsh than American challenges.  But, that is what makes Japan, Japan.  I can’t wait for the next episode of this Japanese import.  Thank you MTV, for actually entertaining me and going back on the right track of non “reality” TV shows.  Next, we should talk about going back to your roots of music videos.

Congrats to CollegeHumor

CollegeHumor finally got their own TV show. But, in my opinion, giong to the small screen might be a backwards step since TV is slowly dying and going towards the internets.  Whats worse is that they will be on MTV.  The channel with great shows like, MySpace attention whores of Beverly Hills (aka The Hills), MySpace attention whores of Orange County (aka The O.C.), and MySpace attention whores of 1 house (aka The Real World).  MTV has lost their touch and should go back to playing music videos. Go back to their roots. Unless this is a step towards redeeming their program line up, I fear for CollegeHumors name of tounge-in-cheek online sketch comedy.

CollegeHumor! Please keep the show just like your online shorts.  Those are perfect and always get me laughing. Good luck to you guys and again, congratulations.

Lara Croft plays with herself

What? Bad title? Ok fine. Lara Croft’s model pretends to fight imaginary enemies for a stapler. There, you happy now? Anywho, I’m in love with the new Lara Croft model… again. It may be her eyes, I’m not sure.
