So this weekend Batman v Superman finally opens after two years in the making. If you go and find yourself disappointed for whatever reasons at least you can come home and watch this 1998 direct to video movie: The Batman Superman Movie: World’s Finest, the first meeting of The Dark Knight and The Man of Steel in the animated world, and I’m sure it’s still a better watch than the movie you saw this weekend. This week the guys travel back to the cartoons of their youth and watch the 1992 direct to video movie, Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation. Join us as we revisit these great characters: watch as Buster and Babs Bunny (no relation) travel to the south down river, Plucky and Hamton go on a family road trip, Fifi La Fume searches for her favorite actor to get his autograph and of course we watch Elmyra torture every animal she can get her hands on! Batman: Year One Review

The Knight has come to the city of Gotham, and the streets will never be the same again.  Two heroes have come to save the city that has fallen to its dark criminal elements.  One hero fights corruption among the corrupt while the other fights evil from the shadows.

Batman: Year One chronicles the tale of Bruce Wayne’s return to Gotham and Lieutenant James Gordon’s arrival to a city where the mob rules all.  Faithfully adapted from Frank Miller’s story with an homage to the art of David Mazzucchelli, this newest addition to the DC Animation library does not disappoint.
