Back in November, I saw an ad somewhere on the nets about some eyeglasses that could help your eyesight while staring at computer screens for a long time.  These glasses were called Gunnar’s.  After some thought, I decided to buy a pair.  I mean, whats $76 compared to a huge eye doctor bill in the future?

I got a chance to talk with Mike from Gunnar Optiks and learned about the company’s origin and future.  A lot has changed since November with Gunnar.  Check out the video below to soak up some knowledge on why all gamers, designers, techies, and just bascially anyone who stares at screens for a long period of time need Gunnar Optiks.

Earlier today, the PAX organizers have announced a first confirmed case of the H1N1 virus amongst the attendees.

If you were at PAX this weekend and feel symptoms of the swine flu, go to the doctor and do not forget to mention that you were at an event where a case was confirmed.

If any additional attendees are diagnosed with the swine flu, PAX would appreciate that you notify them by sending an e-mail to rkhoo@penny-arcade.com with your flight info.

On day 2 of PAX, we were able to get a one on one interview with the CEO of TwistedPixel, Michael Wilford. Michael gives us some insight on how Splosion Man came to be and also answers some of our readers questions. When I stepped foot into my first Penny Arcade Expo, I didn’t expect to see much cosplaying.  It was an expo about video games and not as much anime.  There wasn’t even a cosplay contest.  But after seeing all the great costumes, I think they should have one next year. Or atleast have a real life Team Fortress 2 arena.
