ngmoco:), creators of highly acclaimed iPhone games like Rolando and StarDefense, is coming out with a new game called Eliminate. This is ngmoco’s answer to the iPhone FPS online mutiplayer genre. Eliminate seems to look kind of like QuakeLive, but with a stats system that you can upgrade. The more people you “eliminate” the more credits you get. The more credits you get, the better you can make your stats, armor or weapon.
Now, I have been playing iMech on my iPhone, and the online multiplayer mode is a bit choppy. I hope, with ngmoco’s resources, that Eliminate’s arena will be faster.
For more information about Eliminate, check out http://eliminate.ngmoco.com
For a peek at the upgrading system, go past the break for another video from ngcomo:)
Can’t wait for Rocktober 13th to see the opening cinematic of Brutal Legend? Then play the video above to satisfy yourself until then.
Brutal Legend keeps the hype going with their new story trailer. Now we can clearly see the plot of the game and why we must rock out with out guitars and axes out. The reason? To save the world, duh!
TwistedPixel comes out with a great announcement. Their third original IP and I must say. It is DEFINITELY original. Check out the announcement trailer below and you’ll be an instant fan of the game. Sure they used a couple of sound effects from Splosion Man, but hey. That doesn’t mean the game isn’t going to be super awesome. I’ll be meeting with TwistedPixel tomorrow to get more details on this.
Finally. The old school arcade game that you’ve wasted so many quarters and time on i finally here! On August 5, go back in time virtually and literally with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But this time with HD graphics. Check the trailer above and try to tell me that you won’t buy this game.
Game will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace for $10.
Yesterday, we were given a trailer with just a robot foot. The internet buzzed with rumors of a new MechWarrior game. Now, with a full trailer, we know it is real. The MechWarrior franchise is getting a reboot. From the looks of the trailer, I’m not impressed but there is still much more to see in the near future. The trailer sounds very intense, but the action just seems slow. The last MechWarrior franchise game I played had a better trailer than this and I actually bought the game.

If you’re a fan of Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Air Bender, then get ready for the live action movie by M. Night Shyamalan. (Yes, I had to google his name to copy/paste it.) If you’re not a fan, here’s a quick paragraph about the movie and cartoon.
The popular animated TV series Avatar from Nickelodeon is a cartoon where human civilization has been divided into four nations: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. The fire nation is waging an oppressive war on the others. The hero, Aang, is prophesied to be able to control all of the elements and unite all of the nations. The film stars Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Aasif Maandvi, Shaun Toub, and more.
Hope that got you excited for next year. I know I am. The film comes out July 2nd, 2010.

The new King of Fighters Online trailer has been released, showcasing the beautiful Mai Shiranui.
Developed by Dragonfly and Triple Games, King of Fighters Online is an Online RPG with fighter elements included into the mix. The game will feature a tag system, which will allow players to switch characters during battle, as player-vs-player and player-vs-environment battles.
I have to say, as beautiful and stunning as cel-shaded Mai is, I’d much rather be in the company of the real thing.
