WONDERCON 2015: Batman Unlimited Interviews Pt 2

The legend of Batman continues this week as Warner Bros. Animation releases Batman Unlimited: Animal Instinct on BluRay, DVD, and digitally everywhere. Although audiences may be more used to the darker and more intense Batman from Warner Bros. and DC’s usually straight-to-video releases, Batman Unlimited has lightened the tone for a larger family viewership, but is keeping all the action of Batman’s previous television stints. In this animated adventure the cape crusader faces off against a menagerie of DC’s most animalistic antagonists: The Penguin, Cheetah, and Silverback. This threat to Gotham is so huge that even the Dark Knight won’t be able to handle it by himself, so enter Nightwing, Red Robin, Green Arrow, and of course The Flash to help save the day!

While at this year’s WonderCon in Anaheim we got to catch up with the incredible voice talent of Roger Craig Smith (Batman), Yuri Lowenthral (Red Robin), Will Friedle (Nightwing) and writer Heath Corson to talk to them about DC’s latest animated feature and the return of Batman to the all-ages audience.

WonderCon 2015 Dead Rising: Watchtower Roundtable with Tim Carter and Tomas Harlan

WonderCon 2015 has come and gone but that doesn’t mean the Comic Issues crew had all the fun! Dead Rising: Watchtower is a movie based on the wildly entertaining video game zombie survival franchise Dead Rising. The movie follows “ace” reporter Chase Carter (Jesse Metcalfe) as he tries to survive a zombie outbreak in a quarantine zone. Along the way he meets Crystal (Meghan Ory), a woman infected by the zombie virus who maintains her humanity through the use of a special medication. They are also joined by Maggie (Virginia Madsen), a mother who is on the brink of insanity. The trio band together and try to fight their way out of the dangerzone as Chase’s camerawoman, Jordan (Keegan Connor Tracy) tries to find a way to rescue them with the help of General Lyons (Dennis Haysbert). The movie contains twists and turns and is generally a delight to watch!

WonderCon 2015 – Batman v Robin Interviews

This week DC Entertainment released the latest in their line of straight-to-home-video animated movies mostly based on storylines from the comics. Not letting the dust settle on their last release, January’s Throne of Atlanis, they bring us Batman v Robin, starring returning voice actors Jason O’Mara, Stuart Allan, and Sean Maher along with Jeremy Sisto as the villain, Talon. While at WonderCon this year our favorite Villainous Correspondents Sara Winchester and Skratch Okami spoke with some of the cast and crew about coming back to Gotham City with one of Batman’s greatest stories in recent time and what it was like putting on the tights again… metaphorically that is… maybe.

Today Hillary Papirio‘s galleries joins Ariana Hester and Stephanie Agnes as we give you more photos from WonderCon 2015!
