I’ve been to Blizzcon’s first, second and fourth year. With every year, the ticket price has been hiked up another $25, starting from $75. Back when I was a World of Warcraft addict, I didn’t mind the $75 price tag. I got to shake hands briefly with the developers, learn about the new and upcoming features, and get a first hands-on demo of the game. I also got an exclusive swag bag full of two really cool things, and a bunch of coupons or fliers to use at the event.
After hearing the first opening announcements, buying stuff from the Blizzcon store, playing a 15-minute demo of an upcoming game after waiting in line for an hour, and walking around the conference hall a bit, what else is there to do?
Is Blizzcon really worth the ticket price tag? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
