In February of 2005, the world of the interwebs was forever changed. Three former PayPal employees banded together to birth a beautiful internet love child. Internet-goers could watch clips of their favorite movies, creative vlogs and webseries, or a walrus playing a saxophone, all on one website. In February of 2005, YouTube was born.
On last night’s recording of the Tripod, there was a lot of crying, especially when I mentioned Uncharted 3. Other topics we discussed on the show were a little bit of the anonymous protest (Operation PayBack) over the Wikileaks shut down, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, and some TRON: Legacy.
There has been a lot of talk recently about OnLive. Especially after the announcement about their $9.99 a month Unlimited Game service. Now OnLive has more the one flavor. I’ve already had a chance to do a Video Bandwidth test on PC / Mac. Though I was really itching to try out the console version….
