Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is upon us and button mashing shall ensue, but the usually insanely robust roster is a wee bit smaller than we are used to.
Twenty characters smaller, to be exact. So in honor of the forgotten warriors, I submit the Top 5 Characters who should be in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.
5)Blanka
Wouldn’t it be amazing to wrap Captain America up in a nice big electrical hug? Marvel Vs. Capcom is a world full of crazy off the wall characters, so why exclude gaming’s most lovable green Brazilians. Blanka would be a wonderful addition to the game. He would fit in perfectly with all the eccentric characters on the roster. Plus one green man-thing isn’t enough for my tastes.
4)Any Girl from Street Fighter who isn’t Crimson Viper
I know Chun Li is in the game. Of course she is. Not having her would be like not having Ryu in the game.
But of all the other girls in the Street Fighter series, they picked Crimson Viper to be in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3? I understand that she is one of the newer characters and they might be trying to get her more exposure, but I don’t think she is up to snuff. Cammy is a long time fan favorite who would have made a lot of sense in a game that almost exists as fan service. I would prefer Rose to Viper. At least you can play Rose Ball with her.
3)Cable
Playing Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 I find myself using Cable in my team a lot. He is a well rounded character with a very useful moveset. Also, he’s just plain cool. Who doesn’t enjoy characters with guns?
I know that Deadpool and Dante have guns covered but I think that more guns are always appreciated. Especially when the other guys can shoot fireballs and lasers and are sometimes robots.
2)Guile
I like my fighting games to have a certain amount of boom to them. If I had to measure it I would say it was somewhere at the sonic level.
Marvel Vs. Capcom is a series that lets you answer a lot of questions of who would win in a fight. Who is more unstoppable, The Hulk or The Juggernaut? Who is more metal, Iron Man or a Sentinel? So why can’t I find out who loves America more, Captain America or Guile?
1)Zangief
Are you kidding me with this? No Zangief? No brawny Russian to bear hug people with?
Whose chest hair am I going to marvel at? I am so sad about this. Maybe this will cheer me up.
