The ongoing saga that is Telltale Games‘ Back to the Future: The Game continues today with the release of “Citizen Brown,” the third episode in the five-part, point-and-click adventure game. Picking up from “Get Tannen’s” jaw-dropping cliffhanger, Marty’s adventure brings him to yet another alternate 1986, which isn’t what it seems to be.
Joining the cast this time around is Claudia Wells, reprising her role as Marty’s girlfriend, Jennifer Parker, for the first time since the original film, having been replaced by Elizabeth Shue in the sequels after leaving the film business. However, as Marty soon finds, this isn’t the same Jennifer he remembers, thanks in part to the twisting of the space-time continuum.
In addition, Telltale has released a behind-the-scenes featurette recounting just how Claudia Wells came to be involved in the project. as well as shedding some light on the “new” Jennifer that Marty encounters in this alternate timeline. As is standard, Telltale has managed to inject its standard levels of humor, so take a look for yourselves.
