Five Myths about Female Gamers

Everybody knows the stereotypes about female gamers, even if most intelligent folk don’t take them seriously anymore.

Some of the myths deconstructed:

  1. “Girl gamers” are a new phenomenon.
  2. Most girls don’t enjoy playing video games.
  3. “Girl gamers” are a tiny minority.
  4. Girls are less skilled players by nature.
  5. “Girl gamers” have conclusively different tastes than male gamers.
