Frictional Games has announced new downloadable content available for Amnesia: The Dark Descent — for free — along with a couple of other goodies to show their devoted fans their appreciation.
The Amnesia expansion Justine was made available over a month ago in celebration of Frictional Game’s collaboration with Valve for Portal 2‘s release. Now the indie developers have announced that those who have purchased Amnesia will receive the expansion for free in the Amnesia v1.2 update.
In addition, Frictional Games is also thanking their fans by releasing the complete soundtrack for Amnesia. Those that pre-ordered the game or bought it directly from FG’s store will get the soundtrack, composed by Mikko Tarmia, for free. All others interested in listening to psychologically-terrifying music while you’re working out, walking outside, or sitting at your computer can purchase the soundtrack from FG’s store here.
But that isn’t all! FG is also providing 5 short stories written by the original writers and set in the Amnesia universe, illustrated by FG’s concept artists. The stories will also be made available for free with the v1.2 update. All of this is intended to thank devoted gamers for supporting a great indie developer!
