With the PSN outages going into their 20th day — with no real promises of letting up any time soon — and Anonymous still being partially blamed for the attack, it seems like the drama surrounding the internet hackers/activists just keeps coming. Now, sources are reporting that Anonymous might be fighting some of their own hackers.
It appears that an Anon member known as “Ryan” has gone rogue and has attacked two AnonOps sites — AnonOps.net and AnonOps.ru . So far it appears that “Ryan” has hit the sites with DDoS attacks and has also gained access to the IP addresses and passwords found on both sites.
Anonymous has issued a warning to all who have visited the two sites:
We would STRONGLY ADVISE all users to STAY AWAY from AnonOps.net and AnonOps.ru, and they should be considered COMPROMISED. Using or connecting to any service on those addresses may put your computer, and by extension your person, at risk.
