The world has its first, eerily The Patriot-esque glimpse of Assassin’s Creed 3, now firmly confirmed to take place during the American Revolution.
Ubisoft’s next entry in the Assassin’s Creed series, starring a Native American-English protagonist, will be released on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and the upcoming Wii-U. Predictably, the tale will include the clash between the armies of George Washington and the British redcoats – no bets on who’s going to represent the good guys and who the dupes of the Templar oppressors.
Assassin’s Creed 3 runs on a new engine known as the Ubisoft-AnvilNext, which promises new graphical and performance improvements. Further details are promised during the April edition of Game Informer.
