Almost a year after the two-hour pilot was shot we are now able to see what could become the third “modern” Battlestar Galatica series to be aired by the Syfy channel. The trailer promises a ride for the viewers not entirely unlike getting into a rocket sled and drinking an adrenaline and adrenaline cocktail. Blood and Chrome presents us with Luke Pasqualino, from Skins, as William “Husker” Adama on his first duty aboard the Galatica operating an important and secret mission during the tenth year of the first cylon/human war. While the previous BSG spinoff Caprica focused more on the political arena leading up to the conflict seen in Battlestar Galatica, it would seem that Blood and Chrome is delivering the political and religious struggle for power as aside dish to the CGI fueled action. Given that Syfy has begun to run promotions for Blood and Chrome we could see it arrive before the end of this year.
Update: Sadly it looks like the Video has been removed.
Update 2: SyFy is not planning a Blood & Chrome TV Series, though it is considering releasing it as a Digital Series.
