In a surprising twist, leaked images from Konami confirm that there is a Metal Gear Solid game in development for the WiiU.
The new game, tentatively titled Metal Gear Solid: Boss Saga, combines Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes into one cohesive game. The story will follow Naked Snake’s journey into becoming Big Boss and subsequently creating his private army to stand against those who ousted him and treated him as a traitor.
Apparently, this exclusive title will have never-before-seen content that details the infamous “Les Enfant Terribles” experiment that resulted in the births of Solid and Liquid Snake.
As of right now, there’s no information on when MGS:BS will release, but I for one, am so excited for this game. It’s about time Nintendo and Konami collaborated and brought the Metal Gear series to the WiiU. The last time Snake appeared on a Nintendo platform was back in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii and we all know that went swimmingly (*cough* over-powered *cough*).
