With many conferences of E3 2014 finally over, it’s time to digest what we got to see. After last year’s Microsoft E3 snafu it was interesting to see what titles they were going to bring to the table. What better way to make your pitch for the Xbox One than the very franchise that made the Xbox so popular?
Yes dear readers, Halo is back. Now it would be far too easy to make another Halo game, but instead we get a tug at the old nostalgia strings referred to in this article as the Master Chief Collection.
The Master Chief Collection promises not one but all the Halo games. It takes the best of the best, and gives it an HD upgrade. What was a brilliant move, especially in the nostalgia department, is to refer to what hooked by far the most gamers on the franchise: Halo 2. We can expect not only the single player campaign, but also the full multiplayer aspect.
So I ask dear reader, what’s your take on this? While I’m certainly primed for a Next-Gen console, this certainly didn’t sell me. Quite frankly it did help a little, but I’m still on the fence (as Mario Kart is looking quite appealing.)
