Fans of Joss Whedon’s Firefly know and love the beautiful score that accompanied it: a mix of Eastern and Western instruments with a folk music style, perfect for the dystopian future many call “A Western In Space.”
At this year’s WonderCon PixelatedGeek had the honor of talking with the man who created that music: Greg Edmonson. See below for the video, where he talks about working with Joss Whedon, his continuing love for Firefly, and what he’s working on now.
(Interviewer’s note: Greg’s being very modest about the main theme, he gives Joss all the credit for writing it. I think Greg deserves kudos for arranging it though, that’s a lot of work, but as he likes to say “Joss wrote the theme. I wrote everything else.”)
