Over the weekend PG’s own James Huneycutt and myself had the distinct opportunity to speak with James Pugh of Battlecast fame. Battlecast is a podcast where James and his buddies – Dan Brozo, Andy Boyd, and Dirk Stenger – choose characters from any walk of fiction or non-fiction and have them battle in a turn-based role-play style fight. James Pugh is a regular battler and at times an adjudicator on Battlecast, and has won many battles through his use of video game characters and…pop stars. Hit the jump to check out the interview!

I could sit here and just recount all of my favorite moments from the show, but there are too many. And frankly, a lot of those moments tend to be a bit on the vulgar side, but it’s all good fun. Battlecast is really a show made by a group of friends who just have a damn good time hanging out with each other and role-playing as Earthworm Jim or Lady Gaga.
From humble beginnings to where it is now, Battlecast is a weekly show that usually posts on iTunes on Thursdays or Fridays. You can subscribe to the show on iTunes, follow the show on twitter (@battlecastshow), like the show on Facebook, and send your unsolicited…pictures to “battlecastshow” on Snapchat!
