A recent Washington Post article, written by Cleve Wootson, highlighted the swearing in ceremony of Lan Diep. Diep donned his replica Captain America shield as he took his oath of office as a member of San Jose’s City Council. This true nerd and collector of all the nerdy things stated that “There are few opportunities for a grown, adult lawyer to whip out things that some people would choose to classify as toys. So they’ve languished in my closet, safe from scratches, thieves and those who would mercilessly mock me.” Awe, Lan Diep, we would never mock you. We commend you! Stay Nerdy!
