Binary System Podcast #181 – Good Omens

You can listen to this episode on our Binary System Podcast channel at Anchor.fm!

So Good Omens hit Amazon Prime, and even though Neil Gaiman is probably our favorite author ever, you know it’s going to take us a while to watch all the episodes. KIDDING! We already finished. It’s GOOD OMENS, we’ve been waiting for this show for decades, of course we watched it.

Massive spoiler warnings ahoy, as we talk about David Tennant yelling at plants, the amazing CGI on the wings, the Easter eggs, the flirting, the soundtrack and everything else about Good Omens.

After that we briefly go into Constantine, Legion, and Supernatural (on account of the wings), why we stopped watching Broadchurch (season 2), Neon Genesis Evangelion, The Wicked and the Divine, the Hugo Awards, and why Transformers #8 is late (we have no idea, but we got seven issues in four months and now we’re totally spoiled.)

This week’s outro music is a clip from the Good Omens opening theme by David Arnold.

If you loved the animation in the opening credits as much as we did, you should check out this Polygon article about the making of it.
