It’s been a long time since Cecil and Carlos have been able to take a vacation (I’m sure we all know what that’s like) so this week they dropped Esteban off with Cecil’s sister and headed off to the Big City! No, not New York, the other Big City, the one with Middle Park, and a big lake where you can feed the ichthyosaurs, and the obligatory political protestors throwing rocks at the sun.
But in amongst the boring old tourist stuff is a solution to a mystery that’s been bugging Cecil for six months: where has his cat gotten to?
After the Welcome To Night Vale recap we mention a few things that we’re utterly failing to keep up with (Arcane, Russian Doll, the new Doctor Strange movie that we’ve only been waiting to see for months) since we’re too busy watching Beastars. Again. And we also briefly discuss a 1980’s comic book property that we used to be rabid fans of and now we’re sadly letting go because it’s just not appealing anymore. (No, not Transformers, the other one.)
