Okay, you know what? We’re not exactly sure who this week’s recap is for. If you want a twisty, creepy, very-close-to-horror story with a sting in its tail then you really need to go listen to the latest Night Vale episode so we don’t give away the ending. If you think you’re going to be way too unnerved by a story that has hints of an automobile accident that’s so worse than what you’re picturing, then you might not want to hear the story at all.
So what we’re saying is, if you don’t want either spoilers or triggers then you may want to skip to 12:12 this week. That’s the point where we start talking about episode 2 of The Mandalorian season three (still enjoying it), the third episode of Black Mirror season six (can’t really recommend it), and then Elizabeth has the details about the tropical storm that went through San Diego. (It was fine. And also people really shouldn’t play in floodwater. Although maybe the fact that people are playing in floodwater means our waterpark idea of Flooded City Streets has some legs. Adventure Island, call us!)
