First up this week we’re recapping the fifth and final part of Night Vale’s latest story arc, as the telepathic cult from the Desert Otherworld has taken over the town. It’s a real feel-good finale, full of betrayal, mind control, and death! Yay!
After that it’s the weekly sitrep, and what we’re watching while we stay at home (if you haven’t checked out the “Irish People Try” Youtube channel, you really should) and speculate on the upcoming animated Transformers movie. (By “speculate” we mean saying “please be good please be good” a lot.)

If you’re a crafty person in the San Diego area, the Convention Center downtown needs your homemade masks to help with the homeless outreach (they need a lot more things too, but we talked about masks on the podcast.) Here’s the link to the form for donating masks, and here’s the page that lists all the other items they need. (They contacted Elizabeth with instructions on how to drop off donations, but if you’re wanting to donate and you’re not in the area or don’t feel safe doing a drop off, you might ask them about mailing in donations.)
Kathryn’s church in Raleigh believes in social distancing during the pandemic, they’re streaming their services online to anyone who would like a safe Sunday service. They also donate to the Farmworkers Ministry, helping the migrant workers who harvest so much of our food, so if all that sounds like something you’d like to support, here’s their donation page.
On a lighter note…
