Episodes 217 and 218 of Lore Olympus didn’t answer a ton of questions, and by that I mean we STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT APOLLO IS UP TO.
Okay, yes, we got some good information about how Kronos was able to take over the Underworld. And we find out what happened to get Thanatos AND Thetis banished to the Mortal Realm (short answer: Zeus is a predictable jerk, and Thetis is kidding herself if she thinks this was anything other than getting dumped by the ruler of Olympus). But darn it, Apollo is either plotting something or seething about Persephone’s new status as Queen of the Underworld, possibly both, but we don’t know because WE HAVEN’T SEEN HIM SINCE MAY.
Elizabeth’s also watched all of Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities (can’t really recommend), and Kathryn went to the Carolina Renaissance Festival outside of Charlotte last week (so pretty!). Oh, and we have a standing appointment to have boba tea the next time we’re both in San Diego because Kathryn doesn’t trust chunky drinks and Elizabeth thinks that’s just wrong.
