Wow. Not sure if the whole entire world shares our opinion on this. But they should, because Rhea Seahorn was robbed of an Emmy for this week’s episode of Better Call Saul.
Other stuff happens in the episode too, of course. Jimmy is torn between wanting to con his way into employment, and wanting to show his total disdain for anyone who thinks he’d be a good employee. Mike continues to be a beneficial (and on the payroll!) nuisance, and Gus is fine with it. Gus is not fine with what Nacho did last season. Hector’s in a coma, and now Gus has to part with an insane amount of money to bring in a Johns Hopkins doctor to heal Hector back to the point where Gus can make him suffer. So Gus will just have to make Nacho suffer in the meantime.
But my God, that scene with Kim and Howard, where Kim utterly destroys Howard for trying to dump his trauma on Jimmy. Hopefully she doesn’t ever find out how pleased Jimmy is for playing a part in ruining his brother’s life, because you do not want to get on Kim’s bad side.
Kathryn also watched Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and is still giggling about that ending. And both Elizabeth and Kathryn would like to know if there’s a way to get more info about local police actions and car accidents if the media isn’t covering them. Because we’re nosy.
