Happy fifth day of Halloween! (Hey we can celebrate as long as we like.) Night Vale’s City Council has decided things have gotten way too scary, so this year’s Halloween is Scare Free. Except for the occasional stabbing. And the minotaur. And the freakishly tall man that’s warping space and time inside your home. But other than that, enjoy!
After the Night Vale recap we jump into two episodes of season 4 of Better Call Saul, where Jimmy is turning down job offers LIKE A JERK, Mike is traumatizing the therapy group LIKE A JERK, and Gus Fring is terrorizing Hector LIKE A TERRIFYINGLY EFFICIENT JERK. Everybody’s got their reasons of course, but whoooo boy, Mike is not getting invited back next week.
But before all that we have to say goodbye to Sir Patrick Stewart. It doesn’t matter how long we had him for, it’s still too soon. Jean Luc, his eyes closed. Sir Patrick, his life fulfilled.
