For those of you that have been enjoying Portal 2‘s soundtrack — “Songs to Test By” — the final volume has been released.
The final volume contains 24 tracks, from the end of the single-player campaign and the co-op missions. The best part: it is available for free. To date, the first two releases have been downloaded over two million times. Pretty impressive for a video game soundtrack.
You can find all three download links for the soundtrack, as well as downloads for ringtones, at the Official Portal 2 Music Website.
Additionally, it seems that when higher-ups at Valve announce that the first Portal 2 DLC will be released “sometime in September,” they mean that you’ll hear about it sometime in September. And that would be on the very last day of September. Nonetheless, the official announcement is that the first DLC — entitled “Peer Review” — will be available to download, for free, this coming Wednesday, October 5.
