We look forward to so many things at WonderCon: the panels, the gigantic sales floor, the artists, and (probably the most for us) the cosplay. This year the cosplay didn’t disappoint (it never does.)
Every year at WonderCon is a great one, but this year seemed especially epic. The panels were excellent, the food trucks were awesome, and the cosplay seemed better than ever (and the cosplay is always good, so that’s saying something.)
The new animated Justice League movie, Throne of Atlantis, was released to general audiences this week. For the 13th year, AJ of Energy 103.7 camped out on top of a crane in Mission Valley for a week to raise money and toys for Rady Children’s Hospital. But this was the first year that a geektastic convention surrounded the crane for a day, with cosplayers and vendors and panels of nerd-knowledge helping
With the ringing of the bell that is Comikaze 2014, the con season comes to a close for southern California. Cosplayers will hang their spandex for the winter months while they hibernate and work on their costumes for 2015. When all is said and done we would be hard-pressed to ask for a better send-off
