The day we knew was coming is finally here, after the acquisition of Star Wars by Disney it was only a matter of time until every aspect of the company would be controlled by the mouse; including the comic rights. Announced just this past Friday, beginning in 2015 Marvel Comics will be the sole publisher of Star Wars comics thus ending a 23 year relationship with indie darling, Dark Horse Comics.
The news stirs up mixed feelings with Anthony and Elizabeth as they’re joined by J. Bear in Andrew’s absence due to the plague. Although Disney has the right to do what they please with their toys the crew can’t help but feel jaded about Dark Horse’s loss.
