Okay, yes, we know we’ve already talked about the movie Backrooms in a previous episode. But we just watched the video “Everything Must Go” that Kane Parsons put up for free on YouTube, and since that’s something of a prequel then we had to rewatch the movie and then fangirl about all the ways it’s deliciously creepy and unsettling.
Then it was time to talk about the Season 3 episode 8 of Better Call Saul and wow, there’s a lot going on in this episode. Nacho’s trying to save his dad, Chuck’s trying to heal himself, Mike’s trying to provide for his family, Kim is trying to boost her career (and possibly save Jimmy), and Jimmy is, well. There’s a reason why the episode’s title is “Slip”. Jimmy is finding all kinds of reasons to slide back into his con-artist persona, and we all know where that is eventually going end.
