The rain didn’t stop the cosplayers from showing up in force, and there were plenty of gathering spaces inside the convention center to grab some photos. (We love daylight photos best, but we’re glad for any space where we can stop people for photos without blocking traffic, and the sun did come out a couple
WonderCon is back, and the hottest topic among attendees on Friday was “OMG did you hear it’s going to RAIN TOMORROW.” There’s literally a 100% chance of rain called for Saturday and Sunday, so all the cosplayers were outside Friday, taking advantage of the sun while it lasted. This past Saturday Wade and I got to check out Black Com!x Day at the World Beat Center in Balboa Park. As a celebration of Black creators in comics, it featured artists from publishers worldwide, as well as cosplay, food, art, panels, music, and more. I highly recommend you stop by next time they hold

I always think of Sunday as the “quiet day” of Comic-Con, but that’s almost never the case. The sales floor was packed and there was a ton of great cosplay.
