It’s been a busy few months, but I finally finally FINALLY got a chance to break open my Transformers Generations Titans Return Titan Force box set. And I immediately did a photo shoot of it, which will tell you all you need to know about how much I love it.
Hundreds of artists attended this year’s DesignerCon in Pasadena, and the Convention center was packed with beautiful and bizarre creations: over 90,000 square feet (spilling over into a third giant room and part of the lobby space) was filled with designer toys, prototypes, paintings, plushies, figures, statues, jewelry, and a lot more. This year’s New York Comic Con set a record: over 180,000 people attended the four-day event at the Javits Center. Binary System Podcast and official PG photographer Capn Slack were there on Saturday to get photos of cosplay, artists, the ginormous sales floor, and more. Click the jump for the full gallery!
The second annual Nerd Con was held this past weekend, with thousands attending the home-grown Convention. Nerd Con grew a lot in just one year, taking up two days instead of one (three if you count the Friday preview night) and covering a much larger area of the California Center for the Arts in Escondido.
