Although fans of Firefly have undoubtedly watched the series probably more than once, they will now get a chance to experience it in HD on the Science Channel. Beginning in March, Firefly will be shown on the Science Channel in its intended order on Sunday nights. The Science Channel has recently acquired the rights and will air the entire series along with new extras. These extras include “interstitial segments starring renowned physicist Dr. Michio Kaku, who will discuss the theoretical science behind the show’s sci-fi concepts.” Firefly will premiere on Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. and will continue to air every Sunday.
