Yuna vs. Kasumi: Now Taking Bets

Have you ever wondered how the characters from a fighter or RPG would fight if they were in a real battle-royale with one another?  Ever wondered how magic or ninja techniques would look in a scrap?  Thanks to Monty Oum, I don’t have to anymore.

I saw this for the first time a few days ago, and have watched it and it’s four sequels (yes there are four) at least once every day thereafter.  It’s such an interesting change seeing characters you’re used to seeing fighting in a line (while you select their next attack methodically and with all the time in the world), or characters you’re used to see fighting one-on-one (while you mash buttons like a crazy person – don’t judge me) in a free-for-all.  On a sad note, yes the graphics are from the PS2 generation and the sixth installment has been in the works for quite a while, but this is something every gamer needs to watch, if for nothing else, the fan-service it definitely provides.

So, if you’re a Final Fantasy junkie or a Dead or Alive groupie, I suggest putting aside about thirty minutes and watching all five episodes; I promise you won’t regret it. You’ll probably be cheering on your favorite character; I know I was rooting for Yuna!

Oh, and here’s the link to second installment as well, enjoy!
