By many, Cosplay is considered an art form and a way for people to show their love for a character/show/thing in the most genuine way possible. After all, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It’s in this way that the costumers are the artists that paint their loving portraits in the visage of their adoration. Those who put in the countless hours with a sewing machine and glue gun.
We met one such rising star of the stitch and thread while at Cosplay Con, and it was one that we’ve met before. Lauren Bregman has been in several of our cosplay galleries as Diamond Dove from the Birds of Play cosplay duo and she’s also the talent behind all those costumes.
