2014 Long Beach Comic Con Gallery

This year, the typical Southern California “Fall” heatwave broke for one amazing weekend of perfect weather as another Long Beach Comic Con beckoned their geeky and nerdy brethren for two days of comic book goodness.  Those who were able to attend the con helped to make it the most successful year in the LBCC’s short history to date.  This year everything was bigger, from the cosplay, to the vendors and artists, to the top notch programming, including the launching of The Dwayne McDuffie Award, a special commendation that’s dedicated to celebrating diversity in comics, digtial or print.

We may be a little biased, but Southern California is home to some of the BEST cosplay and cosplayers on Earth and we don’t need SDCC to prove that. (Bring it on, DragonCon!)  Even the more middle-ranged conventions like LBCC is full of fanatics dressed in amazing costumes showing off their freaky fandom and soaking in the praise.  This year also hosted another Cosplay Costume Contest hosted by local Nerd Prince, Bernie Bregman of the Nerds Like Us midnight movie showings and the hugely popular Club Cosplay Nightclub.

The stage wasn’t the only place to see these geeks strut their stuff.  Just catch an eye full of the great stuff we got to see on the con floor!

If you missed out on all the fun, fret not! Long Beach Comic Con will return Feb. 28th – March 1st as Long Beach Comic ExpoTickets are available NOW!
