Gallery – Transformers Generations Titan Force Set

It’s been a busy few months, but I finally finally FINALLY got a chance to break open my Transformers Generations Titans Return Titan Force box set. And I immediately did a photo shoot of it, which will tell you all you need to know about how much I love it.

I think the thing that impressed me the most was Windblade’s face. Depending on how you look at it, the expression changes dramatically, that’s awfully cool.

The details and points of articulation are extremely well done (the fingers aren’t articulated, but are detailed enough that they look like they could almost move.) There’s also an impressive amount of detail in the teeny tiny Teslor and Infinitus (the Headmasters to Brainstorm and Sentinel Prime) and they even have little spots to sit within Brainstorm and Sentinel’s alt  modes.

The transformations weren’t too tricky to manage, especially with the huge folded instruction sheet that doubles as a very nice floor for a photo shoot. I like that the alt-mode transformations have places where pieces snap into place, so not only do you know you definitely have them  in the right spot, but they also lock down for a really steady shape.

My one and only quibble? Brainstorm doesn’t have a briefcase. (Unless I’m missing it, maybe it’s folded up in his chest plate somewhere…) Oh well, he still manages to look smug and condescending if you pose him right, and that’s what counts the most.
