A mutant surprise – in new TMNT 2 Trailer

Back in 1990 we were treated to a gem of a movie – the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It didn’t take long before the rumors started about the sequel: The Secret of the Ooze. More specifically about the possibility of a couple of mutant henchmen. What were we hoping for? Well Bebop and Rocksteady of course. And what did we get, aside from a Ninja Rap dance? Tokar and Rahzar – a mutant dog and snapping turtle.

It’s more then 20 years later and with the rebooted TMNT we are finally getting to see our favorite mutants. Oh and did I mention Casey Jones?

The Final Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Trailer Revealed

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain marks the last time we’ll ever see a Metal Gear Solid game helmed by series creator Hideo Kojima.  Despite the now legendary falling out between Kojima and Konami, Kojima was at least allowed to make the final trailers himself. As such, the final trailer for The Phantom Pain is no exception to Kojima’s genius. It is a masterful piece of work that traverses the main line of Metal Gear Solid games (so essentially every game that is considered canon) which not only shows Big Boss’s progression from hero to villain, but even touches on the fate that Solid Snake narrowly avoided. But, in any case, I’ve rambled on far too long about the trailer, hit the jump to see it for yourself! Read On

Mad Max – E3 Story Trailer

Leave it to another outlier game at E3 to get me all excited again. Last year it was Shadows of Mordor (another Warner Bros game,) a game that lots of people praised but was totally out of left field and a surprise hit. This year I have a feeling that Mad Max will be similar, much like the movie just a month ago (which was awesome and I highly recommend). Hit the link to see the new trailer!

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain trailer may be Kojima’s last

E3 2015 hasn’t even officially begun and yet we’ve been treated with a slew of trailers for upcoming games. One trailer in particular caught my attention…Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was a standout and it might also be the very last time we see a Metal Gear trailer with series creator Hideo Kojima still as lead on this legendary property. Past trailers have always captured the tone of the Metal Gear game being promoted and I can’t help but think that that is in part due to Kojima’s influence. This trailer remains consistent to his vision and does not disappoint. Hit the jump to check out the trailer!

Fallout 4 – Official Trailer

Great news for fans of the Fallout franchise – yesterday, the following image was posted at Bethesda’s Fallout webpage, with a timer counting down to 10:00am EST on Wednesday the 3rd. Fallout 4 has been one of the industry’s worst-kept secrets, and there’s little question that the timer will end with a reveal of the upcoming title.

We've been standing by for 5 years.

We’ve been standing by for 5 years.

A little earlier today the website went live for a very brief span of time, and the following image was displayed, in addition to a video link, almost certainly the first teaser trailer for Fallout 4.  The page also confirmed that the upcoming Fallout title will be on the PC, PS4, and XboxONE platforms.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Reveal Trailer

Just when you thought Advanced Warfare was set far enough in the future, Treyarch uses the new Black Ops 3 reveal trailer to show that they don’t think Call of Duty has gone far enough. In the trailer, Treyarch is looking to shake things up in a more significant way by going far and beyond the previous entry’s EXO suits.

One of the more notable changes is the trans-human aspect of the soldiers. In a few shots it can be seen that characters can now have augmented physical abilities such as robotic arms that can transform into weapons, augmentations to strength and speed, and the ability to mentally hack enemy drones.
