Nintendo and GameFreak made an unexpected announcement this week during their “Pokemon Direct” presentation that fans of the classic Pokemon titles should be excited to hear.
Hello and welcome back, dear friends, to this week’s Trailer Park. I’m your old pal Spooky and I’m here to bring to you only the best in the latest and greatest teasers, trailers, and clips. I scour the inter-tubes and bring them all here in one sweet spot for your viewing pleasure. It’s a thankless job, so you can thank me in the comments section below. This week:
Welcome to The Trailer Park, a place where all trailers come to congregate. Every week the newest and greatest trailers will gather here for your one stop shop in movies, video games, and all other kinds of teaser goodness.
This week Zod continues his threats on Superman as Man of Steel approaches like a speeding bullet. Pacific Rim rises from the depths to excite us more about del Toro’s monster smashing, epic robot action film. Edgar Wright and the gang of Pegg and Frost team up again for a comedic adventure of old friends out to recapture the glory of their youth. In The Purge, a family must do all they can to stay safe on the most dangerous night of the year, where there is no law to protect them. Lastly, Metallica creates a unique blend of music and narrative in Through the Never.
Yesterday, a countdown began on Frictional Game’s official website for their newest installment in the Amnesia series. Many hoped the countdown led to the release date – or at least more information – about the Amnesia sequel A Machine for Pigs.
This afternoon, Frictional Games answered their wishes, and released the first teaser trailer for the sequel on their YouTube account.
It seems to be a superhero-themed week. The Avengers makes its theatrical debut, and The Dark Knight swoops in with a release of its latest trailer. All I can say is that it’s a great time to be a comic geek.
If you can’t recall this movie is a reboot of the beloved Arnold movie. (Yeah, you know the one; where he can’t breath and his eyeballs shoot out his skull?)
This time around, it seems a lot has changed, from magnetic cars to, well, no Arnold. That said, the trailer looks pretty awesome. Between this and Prometheus, there’ll be lots of reasons to be at the theaters.
Its been a long, hard road traveled, but the pay off is about to come. Only two short months away from The Avengers’ May 4th release, and all geeky hairs are standing on end. In early February we saw a little taste of what’s to come and just last week our appetite was taunted yet again with 2 minutes and 30 seconds of sweet-sweet trailer goodness, strongly featuring every character that we’ve been waiting to see leap off the comic book pages into a live action movie.
The Avengers are coming.
Two of Earth’s Mightiest Podcasters, Leland (Movie Issues) and Anthony (Comic Issues), got together this week to watch the newest Avengers trailer for the thousandth time and add a bit of their own commentary for your enjoyment and enlightenment. Although this trailer doesn’t reveal any of the finer details to the plot, these two heroes give it their all to squeeze as much entertainment out of one trailer as inhumanly possible.
Ladies and gentlemen, pull a lawn chair… Welcome to the Trailer Park.
Anticipation reaches a new level as the Dark Knight Rises dealt with yet another leak, a bootlegged version of the trailer that hit the internet earlier this week.
While Mission Impossible might feature some of the actual movie, this weekend’s Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows will feature this trailer, now officially released.
While at E3, I never noticed there was a theme among all of the trailers that were shown. FirstPlay (UK) noticed it and created a music video mash up of the theme using Lonely Island’s “I’m On A Boat” track.
Stay tuned to the site because we’ll be producing our own video montage of our whole E3 experience.
