With the new X-Men flick opening this weekend the guys decided to watch one of the other movies in the franchise. They went for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Yup. That one. It’s not good. Even after all this time this movie still just doesn’t work. From the muddled plot, random characters here and there for no reason, Gambit, and of course the adamantium bullet and its spell for forgetfulness. Movie Issues: Little Shop of Horrors

This week the guys traveled down to skid-row and rocked out to 1986s Little Shop of Horrors. The musical movie based off the off broadway show, which itself was based off the 1960s Roger Corman movie of the same name. Whew, got all that? Anyway, it’s the movie about a giant man eating plant that has come from outer space to destroy our world, like all space things do. Sit back as we discuss the love for the plant puppet and we get into a massive conversation about X-Men: Day of Future Past. It’s seems to be business as normal here at the Movie Issues HQ.
